Venus is Calling

In this season of my life I ask myself - Am I winding down—or winding up?

Then another essence calls. Another idea arrives. Another possibility begins sparkling.

So when I think maybe I'm winding down - nope!  I'm winding UP, it seems! 

Carried by the year of the Fire Horse, I am choosing to grow Star Essence—to share more, and nurture a larger community of people who love working with essences. There is still so much I want to bring into the world!

We have the Year of the Fire Horse—and the release of the Fire Horse essence-Soul Ignition, alongside Noble Heart Illumination, our Emerald Cintamani essence.

One feels like an invitation to kindle our personal courage, passion, and purpose. The other invites us to widen our wishes beyond ourselves—to include our planet, our galactic family, and the good of all.

The Cintamani essence had been waiting more than two years for its release.

And this was the year!

For several months, the word Venus kept catching my attention. Every time I heard it, I felt a spark.

A friend mentioned a moon-bound art project called Venus, and there was that spark again. Then I read that Venus would be it's most brilliant on September 18 right after sunset.

On September 17, I took my pontoon boat out onto Lake Ouachita—by myself, in the evening.

I hadn't gone out and stayed after dark by myself for quite a while. Somewhere along the way, a little voice had begun suggesting, “Maybe I'm too old for that.”

Well… that evening gave me a different answer!

I thought I was going on a reconnaissance trip to check the timing for the following night. And I brought a bowl, a bottle, and our crystalline spring water—just in case.

As the sun went down and the sky changed colors, I watched the beautiful show - and then at 7:33, Venus appeared.

What a thrill! I felt the invitation to begin.

I set out the bowl and filled it with water. The lake was beautifully still, and Venus shone above the water. In that quiet meeting of planet, water, and presence, the essence began.

As things go with making essences ~ Everything that could go right, went right.

The lake water was a yummy 87 degrees, and I had a lovely swim. I was reminded again how central water is to my essence journey—and how nourishing it is to be present with this majestic lake.

By 8:11, Venus had disappeared from view. I drove my boat back to the marina in the very dark, feeling exhilarated, capable, and very proud of myself.

Old? I felt so full of life. Yay!

I felt guided to return the next two evenings, allowing the essence to develop in stages. There are still two more phases I feel called to work with before it is complete. That's part of the alchemy.

I'm sharing this now because I'm too excited to keep it all to myself!

My intention is to have the Venus essence ready by 11:11, so you can order it in time to welcome the December solstice.

For now, I'm listening, receiving, and giving it time to reveal its character. I know this will be something very special.

Alongside these new essences, I'm working toward bringing our Practitioner Certification Course back online with some fresh upgrades.

And I have a not-so-secret wish: to become a vibrational essence influencer! LOL To me, that means sharing what more than three decades of making and working with essences have taught me—and inviting more people to explore their own relationship with this beautiful practice.
