It's All About Time - Thyme Essence

Time this year has been wonky for me. I almost went to an event yesterday that actually happened last week.  Where did that week disappear to? In fact, how did it get to be almost September?  Has time been behaving strangely for you this year?

It feels like the perfect moment to revisit one of our Star Essences:

A few years ago, I wrote the story of how this essence came to be. It began with a small Thyme plant growing at my home. Each time I walked past, its tiny blossoms asked me to make their essence. Thyme was insistent, and it took it awhile to really get my attention. This tiny little flower?

So I asked, “What are you all about?”

And Thyme answered:

“I am about time…and it's about time.” That seemed a little obvious—and perhaps a bit trite.

Thyme laughed. Then she began speaking about these times, that time, some time, any time, your time, my time—and all the time.

Soon, however, her message became much deeper. She spoke of the folding of time…the disappearance of time…new timelines and simultaneous timelines…and how to remain balanced within them. She spoke about using time, bending time, stretching time—and somehow conveyed it all in one moment.

Then she said:

I made the essence on the Summer Solstice. When I finished gathering the tiny flowers, there appeared to be just as many blossoms on the plant as when I began. Yet one week later, not a single blossom remained.  Timing, it turned out, had been essential. As always with essences.  That critically important- moment of bloom.

It's About Time helps us release our confinement to linear time and adjust to the changes occurring within and around us. It supports patience, tolerance, balance, and the ability to remain present while navigating unfamiliar territory.

It reminds us that the way through changing timelines is through presence.  And love.
