And the story...

Last year, in the Year of the Snake, I had the magical experience of making our snake essence, Sacred Mysteries of the Serpent. It became one of those unforgettable moments that lives in the heart forever.

So when I learned that 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse, I immediately began feeling the possibility of a Fire Horse essence moving into my consciousness—especially because I know one particularly extraordinary horse: Toisan, a Nez Perce horse, a beloved friend and companion to my friend Dr. Gigi Gaulin.

Toisan turned 20 years old this May, and he and Gigi have shared life together for ten years. Whenever I am in Toisan's presence, I feel his immense energy, gentleness, intelligence, and love. Horses literally have extraordinarily large hearts, and somehow you can feel that. Their presence radiates both power and tenderness, - and Love.

I began quietly communicating with Toisan inwardly, asking if he would be willing to share his energy in the making of an essence.

Each time, the answer felt like yes.

So I waited.

I waited until we entered the Year of the Fire Horse.

I waited through several powerful astrological alignments.

I waited for my own energy to feel right.

And finally, I waited for the weather, lol.

On May 25, everything aligned beautifully and it was time. And as usual, everything that could go right, went right!

Dr. Gigi was completely on board, and the entire experience unfolded with extraordinary grace. Dr. Gigi brought beautiful Wind Horse prayer flags she had made, and we hung them near the essence bowl.

 

Something especially fascinating is that Toisan feels deeply connected with the Tibetan Wind Horse, known as Lung Ta. In Tibetan tradition, the Wind Horse symbolizes uplifted life-force energy, courage, spiritual vitality, good fortune, and the carrying of prayers and intentions into the world.

In Tibetian traditions, The Wind Horse is often depicted carrying the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel—the Cintamani.

And that is where the story becomes even more magical.

Several years ago I created an essence from an Emerald Cintamani Jewel, yet never felt quite ready to release it.

Now I understand why.

The two belong together.

The Emerald Cintamani carries frequencies of planetary and galactic awakening, coherent love, noble-hearted service, and remembrance. It amplifies our planetary and galactic prayers.

The Fire Horse Essence, Soul Ignition ~ carries the energy of vitality, courage, embodiment, instinct, passion, and joyful forward movement. It ignites our spark.

One supports our personal evolution.

One supports our prayers for humanity, Earth, and the greater cosmic family.

Together they create a beautiful bridge between personal transformation and planetary service.

For the making of the Fire Horse essence, I was guided to use the golden bowl, representing the fire element and solar illumination. After prayers and blessings, we gathered at Gigi's prayer wheel and sent our intentions out into the world. 

Toisan remained nearby throughout the process, peaceful and at ease. Then, at one point, he slowly walked over and stood beside the bowl. He lowered his head and breathed directly into it.

In that moment, I knew.

He was participating.

He was blessing the water.

He was contributing his energy to the essence.

The entire experience was peaceful, loving, and filled with grace.

Making essences always places me into a state of bliss and deep connection. Even though it appears simple, essence making requires tremendous energy on subtle levels. Afterwards, I went home and took a very long nap!

One of the things I love most about making essences is that when the timing is right, everything flows naturally. Little magical details happen all along the way. So many synchronicities.

My communication with Toisan throughout the entire process felt sweet and joyful. It truly felt as though he was happy to be part of this creation.

More About Noble Heart Illumination ~ Emerald Cintamani Essence

The story of the Emerald Cintamani began several years before the Fire Horse Essence was ever conceived.

In 2019, I first encountered the word Cintamani. I had never heard of these mysterious Wish-Fulfilling Jewels before, yet something about the name immediately captured my attention. I felt deeply drawn to it and knew instinctively that an essence wanted to be made from one.

Then, months later, a friend, Pilar – originally from Colombia – arrived in Hot Springs carrying a Cintamani stone.

That encounter led to a remarkable series of synchronicities and eventually to meeting a gentleman who had acquired a collection of Cintamani jewels that had come through monks in Thailand and Cambodia.

One synchronicity led to another, and through what felt like pure grace, one of these rare stones came into my care. Eventually, more followed. There will be 7 of them in my Temple of Rejuvenation and Delight that I'm building in the woods at The Star Portal.  More photos of that will come soon.

The Cintamani is surrounded by some of the most fascinating and enduring legends in spiritual history.

For thousands of years, traditions throughout Asia have spoken of a sacred Wish-Fulfilling Jewel associated with awakening, compassion, wisdom, and enlightened intention.

In Buddhist teachings, the Cintamani is often depicted in the hands of enlightened beings and bodhisattvas, radiating light and blessing. Hindu traditions also describe the Cintamani as a jewel associated with divine grace, spiritual abundance, and the fulfillment of one's highest destiny.

Some mystical traditions suggest that great spiritual teachers—including the Buddha and even Jesus—embodied or worked with the consciousness represented by the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel: a field of divine love, service, wisdom, and miraculous possibility.

Perhaps most intriguing are the legends that describe the Cintamani as a celestial gift.

Some traditions say these sacred stones arrived from the stars long ago, carried to Earth through meteorites or visitors from the heavens. Certain esoteric teachings connect the Cintamani with Sirius—the brightest star in our sky—suggesting that it carries frequencies of higher wisdom, cosmic remembrance, and planetary evolution.

No one can say with certainty where the legends end and history begins.

Yet what is remarkable is that so many traditions, separated by geography and time, describe a luminous jewel associated with awakening, compassion, service, wisdom, and the upliftment of humanity.

Some of the greatest gifts of the Cintamani are:

A remembrance that our prayers matter.

That our intentions carry power.

And that when aligned with love and the highest good, we become participants in the evolution of consciousness itself.

 

And since we all can't be with the stones in person, I was guided to make the Cintamani essence.
