Meet Your (Essence) Makers

Star Riparetti, creator and founder of Star Star with Humbolt Lily Essence: Flower and Gemstone Essences, is a native of Santa Barbara, California, where she continues to reside. She feels she was prepared for her work with flower essences most of her life. She began her career in vibrational medicine as chief technician and director of the school of Nuclear Medicine at the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara. After 14 years there she moved to the other end of the spectrum; from isotopes to essences of flowers, both of which are a form of energetic or vibrational medicine. When she heard the flowers call she studied with both the Bach Society and FES (Flower Essence Services) and read everything she could find about flower essences. (At that time there wasn't much.) She has become an exceptionally skilled flower essence producer, and has created the evolutionary Star Essences.

Star started her company, Star Essence, in 1994 and has developed a tremendous collection of essences (over 200!) and continues to be inspired to create. She has appeared numerous times on radio and television, sharing her vast knowledge about vibrational essences in an entertaining and empowering way. Star speaks and teaches both nationally and internationally, presenting seminars and essence certification training courses in this growing field. She has traveled extensively and regularly leads groups to Peru on sacred journeys of discovery and enrichment.

To stay balanced and clear in this busy world, Star also works with essential oils, herbs, practices yoga, teaches t'ai chi chih, spends lots of time in Nature, builds houses, plays with the angels (including her two beautiful granddaughters) and embraces a raw food lifestyle, growing much of her own food on her beautiful "Chaska Norte" property.

Star is passionate about her work and creating essences makes her heart sing, which she says is a sure indicator that she is on her right path. She brings a joy and integrity to her products that can literally be felt in every drop. A true Aquarian Visionary, Star is a rare gift to the field of vibrational medicine. Star Flower and Gemstone Essences are exceptional tools for transformation.

Star's deepest desire is that her essences will truly contribute to human evolution and to the emerging world of Peace and well being for every living creature on this beautiful Earth.

Rogeraboutus Roger Valencia, co-creator of the Andean Orchid Flower Essences, has blessed Star Essence with his many gifts.

Spirit put together some amazing ingredients to wonderfully connect North America and South America. In 1993, while traveling in Peru, Star met Roger Valencia and this embodied master forever changed her life.

Roger was born in Cuzco and educated in Lima. He has degrees in business, in chemistry and in tourism. He is fluent in five languages including Quechua, which is one of the languages of the indigenous people of Peru. He is an awesome guide and an avid botanist. He co-founded a non-profit organization called "Pacha" (meaning "Earth" in Quechua) whose function is to plant trees.

Roger-Smiile As magic would have it, one of Roger's hobbies is "orchids in the wild". He loves them. He has written a book about Andean orchids and has a wonderful relationship with them. Roger has an uncanny ability to find the orchids. They seem come out to say hello when he is around. Before meeting Star he studied them mostly from a botanical, scientific viewpoint. Together, Roger and Star have developed a true co-creative partnership, jointly facilitating many trips to Peru and manifesting the Andean Orchid Flower Essence Project. Since making and working with the flower essences Roger has become a flower essence enthusiast.

Roger currently resides in Cuzco. (A sister city to Santa Barbara!) He is married and has two sons and is a grandfather. He is a highly respected guide, leading treks into the rugged Andes. His company is called Auqui (which is Quechua for "mountain spirit").

andeanlodges One of Roger's most recent projects, and one close to his heart, are the Andean Lodges. These lodges are co-partnered with the indigenous people, who are so grateful to have Roger's help and expertise to build these four lodges high in the high Andes. Building these amazing lodges is an ultimate win/win situation. The people of the villages have learned numerous new skills, learning to build and to run these top of the line, top of the mountain lodges. You hike from lodge to lodge. The participants on these treks enjoy a deep interaction with the indigenous people. It is truly a wonderful cultural exchange. This is a highly recommended trip!
