"Oh my gosh, a Star Peru Trip is simply SUPREME. Each day is full and satisfying, but never exhausting. It is a perfect balance of having the trip planned for you (all the details) while experiencing the 'local' feel of being in the amazing total peruvian groove.  I loved traveling with a small group, and after 8 years, I still have amazing connection of friendships which I am soooo grateful for (what a gift!!).   Roger who leads the trips is Mr. Peru, he can converse with anyone on any topic and just knows how to share Peru with others.  I have traveled to many places in the world and I have to say that the Peru trip was by far the best ... the coolness of how Roger leads us thru various regions in Peru, how he and Star make all the details happen, the quality and variety of accomodations, ohhhhhh and the food is great.  I cannot wait to go back and travel thru the lodge system at high altitude and to experience the 'real deal' Peruvian way of life and culture.  There were so many special places and magical moments, it was truly a superb trip, worth every penny and then some. When I look back on it, wow!!!  And Peru is an easy place to travel: safe, clean, relative balance of economy (no real extremes that make you feel funny as you might in India or Africa).
